Adsorption Systems for the Purification of Hydrogen
Guild Associates is a leading provider of adsorption systems for the purification of natural gas and other gas streams. This technology is built upon the Molecular Gate™ Adsorbent Technology and incorporates PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) systems for gas purification. The technology has been applied into over 30 projects to date.Guild offers PSA systems for the purification of hydrogen where a wide range of impurities are adsorbed and removed while high purity hydrogen is produced. These packaged modular units are fabricated by Guild and custom designed for a range of flow rates and operating conditions. The Guild technology is noted for high reliability, while using off-the-shelf components for quick and easy servicing.
Typically the feed stream is delivered for processing at 100 - 400 psig with high purity hydrogen produced at near feed pressure while the impurities are rejected at low pressure.
Applications include the purification of hydrogen from steam reforming, refinery off-gases, ethylene and methanol plant purge streams etc.
The engineers at Guild Associates have been involved with the design and supply of hundreds of hydrogen purification units and Guild provides high performance and low cost systems to the marketplace.
Guild also provides modular units for nitrogen rejection and CO2 removal from natural gas, dehydration, heavy hydrocarbon removal, dew point control and hydrogen purification.
